Here I have depicted a musketeer at the time of the English Civil War.

A brush and pen drawing, I have used my own made oak gall ink, which turns a warm brownish tint after the initial greys when first applied.

The inspiration for the image came from a photo posted by the re-enactment group, “The Earl of Manchester’s Regiment of Foote”. Find out more about this excellent group here.
